Eredivisie: Suarez bags four as Ajax thrash VVV

Uruguay striker Luis Suarez scored all four goals as Ajax Amsterdam demolished VVV Venlo 4-0 away in the Dutch league on Sunday.

The 22-year-old, the championship's leading scorer, put the visitors ahead after three minutes and added three more in the last 22 to take his tally this season to 10 goals in seven league games.

Ajax are third in the table with 16 points while Venlo are 11th with eight after their first defeat of the season.

Danny Koevermans scored twice in the first 20 minutes to inspire leaders PSV Eindhoven to a 3-1 victory at Feyenoord.

Andwele Slory pulled one back for the home side in the 23rd minute but Otman Bakkal restored PSV's two-goal lead in the 37th minute and handed Feyenoord their first defeat of the season.

PSV have 17 points and lead on goal difference from former England manager Steve McClaren's Twente Enschede who beat lowly Heerenveen 2-0 with Miroslav Stoch scoring both goals.

Feyenoord slipped to fourth with 14 points.
