Ellen DeGeneres welcomed President Barack Obama to her show earlier this week, but perhaps her biggest, most anticipated guest came Thursday morning. Adele swung by the daytime program to talk post-Grammys blues, team up with the comedic host to prank Jamba Juice, and belt the heck out of 25 singles “All I Ask” and “When We Were Young”.

When asked about the technical snafu at the Grammys, which left her performance of “All I Ask” sounding off and out of tune, Adele said she felt “so embarrassed” and ended up shedding quite a few tears over the incident. “I cried pretty much all day [on Tuesday],” the global pop singer told DeGeneres. “In fairness, I would’ve cried if it had gone really well as well … I kept spontaneously bursting into tears yesterday but it was all right, I’m fine.”

During a more lighthearted segment of the episode, Adele pranked a Jamba Juice with the help of DeGeneres, who was feeding her silly directions through an earpiece. Instead of coming off as a normal customer, DeGeneres made it so that Adele seemed like the ultimate diva. At one point, to the confusion of the store’s employees, the UK singer was instructed by DeGeneres to whip out a pair of scissors, cut up some wheatgrass, and eat it right there on the spot.

Another fun moment came when Adele helped to record the outgoing voicemail message to end all outgoing voicemail messages. (Quick! Anyone have DeGeneres’ phone number?)

No TV appearance would’ve been complete without an epic flexing of Adele’s pipes, of course. Unmarred by technical blunders this time around, she delivered a gripping one-two punch of “All I Ask” and “When We Were Young”.
