Hard rock act Nickelback will hit the road at the end of August with 3 Doors Down in advance of its third album, "Silver Side Up," due Sept. 11 on Roadrunner. A video for the track will be shot in Vancouver with the Brothers Strause (Linkin Park).

The group's sophomore set, "The State," peaked at No. 130 on The Billboard 200 last September. The album has sold 302,000 units in the U.S. to date, according to SoundScan.
