Pedro Pablo Pasculli (born 17 May 1960 in Santa Fe) is a former Argentine soccer player and currently working as a manager of Cittanova, in the Italian Serie D. He famously stood directly behind an Argentina shirt when posing for his Mexico 86 Panini sticker photoshoot.

Career[edit]

Player[edit]

He is a former Colón de Santa Fe, Argentinos Juniors and Lecce striker. He is the second best all-time goalscorer for Lecce. He retired in 1996 after playing for Italian club Casertana F.C., that he helped in reaching Serie C2 (Italian 4th division).He closed his football career with Pelita Jaya in Indonesia.

Pasculli was also a World Cup winner with Argentina national football team in 1986, scoring the only goal in the Round of 16 match against Uruguay.

Coach[edit]

Following his retirement as a player in 1996, Pasculli has worked as the manager of the Uganda national football team, Verbania in Serie D and Dinamo Tirana in Albania. Until 2012 he lived in Salento and has coached several local teams. Since 8 March 2012 he is the coach of Cittanova in the Italian Serie D.
