Domodedovo International Airport and Swiss International Air Lines Celebrate the Fifth Anniversary of Their Partnership05.12.2006Five years ago, Swiss International Air Lines began its services from Domodedovo International Airport. Since 2001, the possibilities of one of the largest European air carriers have been enhanced by the potential of the most modern and comfortable Russian airport.
The airline performs regular daily flights to Geneva and Zurich operating Airbus-320 aircraft. Over the past five years, Swiss International Air Lines completed over a thousand flights from Domodedovo International Airport and serviced almost a million passengers.
In 2002, Swiss International Air Lines opened its own business lounge at Domodedovo airport to better serve its business class passengers. Additionally, in 2003, Swiss was the first foreign airline to offer its passengers check-in service at the Paveletsky terminal.
The two dynamically growing companies constantly work together to optimize passenger service technologies. The successful experience of the past years leaves no doubt that the cooperation between Swiss International Air Lines and Domodedovo International Airport has great future and most favorable prospects in store.
