    CEO and President

    A global technology veteran, Eduardo Sanchez brings more than 25 years of strategic and technical leadership in data, cloud, mobile, social and enterprise technologies to his role as CEO of RichRelevance.

    Under Eduardo’s leadership, RichRelevance launched the Relevance Cloud™, the most comprehensive and scalable personalization solution for retail, enabling marketers to move beyond product recommendations to deliver and innovate relevant omnichannel customer experiences in today’s complex, mobile-first retail environment. Outside of leading all aspects of the organization, Eduardo has been directly responsible for its continued growth, strategy and expansion into new geographic regions such as Asia-Pacific and Latin America, as well as further expansion within EMEA.

    Prior to RichRelevance, he served as Executive Vice President at MicroStrategy, where he was an early member of the leadership team and played a critical role in the development of the company, spearheading its foray into new lines of business and international expansion. He also previously served as COO at Paris-based Cartesis (acquired by Business Objects in 2007) and EVP of Global Sales at Lawson Software (acquired by Infor in 2011).

    Eduardo received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of La Plata in Argentina and a M.S. in Systems Engineering from George Mason University in Virginia.

    Mahesh Tyagarajan

    Chief Product Officer

    Mahesh brings over 20 years of extensive product, architecture and engineering leadership experience to his new role as Chief Product Officer at RichRelevance, where he will have full responsibility for product strategy and management, engineering and cloud operation and infrastructure.

    Mahesh joins RichRelevance from Walmart, where he led the development of their Global eCommerce (GeC) Platform as VP of Engineering at WalmartLabs and created the roadmap for the modernization of their retail technology systems. His technology responsibilities at Walmart included e-commerce, omnichannel retail, point of sales (POS), store back-office systems, warehouse management, next generation logistics and mobile applications. Previously, he held product, architecture and engineering leadership positions at Ticketmaster, Paypal, eBay, DemandTec and Netscape.

    Mahesh received his Master in Computer Science and Chemistry from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, India.

    Chief Financial Officer

    Zach Koekemoer brings over 20 years of experience driving financial and operational performance at high-growth technology companies to RichRelevance. He has held executive positions at technology innovators including iPlay, Industrial Origami, WageWorks, @Road and others. As Chief Financial Officer, he will oversee and lead all aspects of the company’s financial operations as RichRelevance continues to rapidly expand across all lines of business.

    Before joining RichRelevance, Zach was the CFO at iPlay (acquired by iWin), a leading global innovator in the interactive games marketplace. While at iPlay, he oversaw the raising and completion of $22M in venture funding, as well as the integration of six acquisitions and the sale of the company’s Interactive/Connected TV business and its operations in China.

    Prior to iPlay, Zach served as Chief Financial Officer at Industrial Origami, Vice President of Finance at WageWorks, and also held senior financial positions at @Road (acquired by Trimble Navigation) and Artisan Components (acquired by ARM Holdings).

    A renowned marketing veteran, Diane is responsible for driving global demand and visibility for RichRelevance’s personalization offerings—overseeing corporate marketing, public relations, lead generation, product marketing, brand strategy and business development.

    Diane has spent the last 20 years leading multichannel marketing, media and branding initiatives for companies like American Express, AOL, CNET, American Airlines, HP, Lockheed Martin, and Sprint. Diane was most recently president of SMA Global, a boutique market strategy and production company serving Fortune 500 clients and the public sector. Prior to that, she was vice president and chief marketing officer for Stanford Research Institute’s AtomicTangerine, leading global branding, marketing, communications and partner relations. Previously, she served as vice president of marketing for CNET, where she focused on branding efforts and revenue strategies across multiple advertising sectors.

    Diane holds a BA in Business from St. Mary’s College of California.

    Senior Vice President of Legal and Business Operations

    Jim Crumbacher serves as the Senior Vice President of Legal and Business Operations for RichRelevance. Jim has global responsibility for the company’s legal and contract functions as well as for managing sales operations.

    Having worked for over 15 years with Silicon Valley technology companies, Jim has substantial experience in representing legal and business operations interests within the tech sector. Prior to RichRelevance, he served as a key member of Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s software business unit, assisting with sales operations, quote-to-cash transformation and business integration activities. Additionally, Jim has held key legal positions at Autonomy, Trimble and @Road.

    Jim holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Illinois, a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Saint Louis University School of Law, and an LL.M. (Master of Laws) in taxation from Washington University School of Law.

    VP of Product Management

    Arun Theivendirarajah is VP of Product Management at RichRelevance, where he is responsible for defining, refining and advancing product and platform strategy that helps omni-channel retail partners succeed in engaging and converting shoppers into buyers. He owns the vision and evolution of RichRelevance’s suite of personalization products (spanning product recommendations, promotions, content and ads) as well as development of new initiatives such as DataMesh (a cloud-based platform that enables clients to build real-time applications tailored to their specific business needs).

    Prior to RichRelevance, Arun held product management and software development roles at Trusera and Amazon.com—where he worked with RichRelevance CEO David Selinger, Chief Scientist Darren Vengroff, and other core team members. At Amazon, he was a lead engineer on Amazon's email personalization platform; his team was responsible for generating relevant, personalized and automated marketing emails that drove highly converting traffic to Amazon web properties.

    Arun received his B.Sc in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Canada.

    As Vice President of IT Operations, Kevin brings more than 25 years of engineering, operations and management experience from both the public and private sector to RichRelevance. He is responsible for meeting RichRelevance’s customer needs by aligning business requirements with IT operations, and managing complex budgets and vendors. Under Kevin’s leadership, the IT team maintains 100% uptime and performance of eight global datacenters that deliver more than 1 billion recommendations each day on more than 100 retail websites. These results are due in part to continuous IT innovation using the latest technology, including Hadoop with HBase, Postgres 9 and Intel Gen3 SSDs. Prior to RichRelevance, Kevin worked in the public, private and entrepreneurial sectors for diverse companies such as the General Services Administration, AARP, Sonopia and Marketo.

    As SVP of Client Services, Amanda brings more than 17 years of expertise and leadership building and running highly successful professional services and consulting organizations that help customers adopt new technologies to optimize business processes. At RichRelevance, she will assume full responsibility for the global consulting, education and technical support organizations, and for the business’ continued expansion as the dominant provider of large-scale omnichannel personalization deployments around the world.

    Prior to RichRelevance, Amanda implemented strategic consulting programs for some of the world’s largest retailers. As Vice President of Worldwide Services at Guidance Software, she significantly grew revenue and profit and played a pivotal role in its transformation to an enterprise software leader. Previously, she spent nearly a decade at MicroStrategy in multiple leadership roles, including Vice President of Professional Services, where she where she doubled the team size and was instrumental in acquiring software licenses and professional services opportunities at key Fortune 100, federal and international accounts.

    Amanda received her BA in Philosophy from Occidental College.

    As Vice President of Marketing, Marc is responsible for evangelizing RichRelevance’s product vision to the market. He oversees Product Marketing, go-to-market strategies, positioning and adoption of the Relevance Cloud™ in the market. Prior to his current role, Marc served as VP of Platform Transformation, where he spearheaded R&D efforts to open the Relevance Cloud platform to enable rapid innovation by retailers.

    Marc brings over 20 years of experience in the high-tech industry—mostly in the enterprise software sector—to this role. Prior to RichRelevance, Marc held technical, sales, partner enablement and executive roles at Business Objects, Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories, Netonomy, MarkLogic and MicroStrategy. During this time, he worked with customers and partners in almost 20 countries.

    Marc holds an electrical engineering degree from ENSEIR Bordeaux, France.

    Ricardo Fuchs is RichRelevance’s VP of Retail Sales and Operations in APAC. He brings three decades of experience as a senior software and services industry executive, building and managing operations in Japan, China, India, ASEAN, Australia/New Zealand, Europe and Latin America. Prior to RichRelevance, Ricardo held executive roles in companies spanning predictive analytics/data mining, business intelligence, CRM, high-end 3D graphics-based virtual marketing and prototyping, CAD/CAM/CAE/PLM software. He served as Senior Group Vice President for Business Objects SA prior to, during and after the company’s IPO and hyper-growth phases; Senior Vice President of Asia-Pacific Field Operations for predictive analytics technology leader Kxen; and Vice President World-wide Operations for Netonomy, Inc. prior to and during its divestiture to Comverse. Ricardo also served as strategic consultant to the CEOs of various companies such as Docent, Inc., NEC Corporation, and Cartesis SA, among others.

    Ricardo graduated from the American Electronics Association’s executive program at Stanford University and holds an MSc in Chemical Physics from the University of Waterloo (Canada). He served as the chairman of the software committee for the American Electronics Association in Japan, co-authored two books on the Japanese software market, as well as several publications in chemical physics and neuromarketing.

    Matthieu Chouard brings more than 20 years of regional and global leadership and sales experience in enterprise analytics, CRM, ecommerce, content management and database services to RichRelevance.

    Most recently, he served as Vice President of Sales at SAP, where he headed up the global analytics software team across the EMEA and APAC regions. Matthieu has also held various senior management roles at KXEN (acquired by SAP in 2013), Cameleon Software (acquired by Pros in 2013), OpenText, Netonomy, and Netscape, where he led regional and global teams to great success.

    As Vice President and General Manager, Chouard will be responsible for running the company’s EMEA operations, including its development, infrastructure, product management, marketing, sales, services and partnerships functions. He will be leading the company’s rapid EMEA expansion and helping the company meet the region’s rising demand for data-driven personalisation and omnichannel retail.

    Matthieu received his Masters in Economic Sciences from Université Panthéon Assas (Paris II) and his diploma in Architecture from Ecole d'Architecture de Paris-Malaquais.

    As Vice President of Global Partner Alliances, Holly Gordon brings over 15 years of experience spanning a variety of early-stage, high-growth companies with a focus on channel/OEM sales, enterprise software sales, partner enablement, and corporate strategy. Prior to RichRelevance, Holly was Vice President of Global Channel Sales and Alliances at Clarabridge Inc. where she created the Partner and OEM/Channel program. Earlier in her career, she held leadership positions in strategic accounts and solutions engineering in both private and public sector companies.

    Holly holds BS degrees in Economics and Sociology from Vanderbilt University.

    Bill has over 20 years’ experience in extensive general management, marketing, innovation and strategy experience across a variety of geographies, categories (Health, Food & Bev, QSR, Pet), and channels (food/drug/mass/club/dollar, restaurant). Additionally Bill is on the Marketing Faculty of the University of California Haas School of Business where he teaches 2nd year MBA students Brand Management and Design and Marketing of New Products. His past accomplishments include working as Del Monte’s CMO, Taco Bell’s CMO, VP of Marketing for Campbell Soup and Marketing Director with Procter & Gamble responsible for the Snacks Division of the North America.

    Bill currently serves on the board of directors for Ooma, Inc.

    He holds a MBA from Cornell University, and a BA in Economics from Syracuse University.

    David Selinger founded RichRelevance in 2006 to give retailers the most advanced personalization platform for transforming customer data into extraordinary consumer experiences.

    RichRelevance is ranked #1 for personalization in both the Internet Retailer 500 and Internet Retailer EU 250, and currently drives over one billion real-time decisions every day. David has led the company through four acquisitions and introduced multiple product lines to create new business value from data through personalization. Both RichRelevance and David (known as Selly to his friends and colleagues) are known for their innovation in this space—delighting consumers, generating revenue and profit for retailers, and creating an award-winning company; RichRelevance has been recognized by numerous publications as a top place to work by employee surveys.

    An early pioneer in data analytics and personalization, David previously led the research and development arm of Amazon’s Data Mining and Personalization team. In that role, David developed and deployed three new recommender systems that increased Amazon’s annual profit by over $50 million (25% of US profit, 2003), setting the industry standard for recommendation services.

    David also cofounded Redfin, a venture backed, industry-leading real estate search/brokerage company, where he helped to build the world’s first real-time mapping and real estate data analytics engine.

    Recognized as a “40-under-40” innovator in the San Francisco region and amongst direct marketers, David holds a broad collection of patents in customer segmentation, analytics and data mining, including over a dozen pioneered at RichRelevance. He received his BS in Computer Science from Stanford University, and is active in social change, serving on the board of directors of Potential Energy, and as an advisor to the Family Giving Tree, Fostering Change for Children and Solace International.

    Dave is a 33-year veteran at Greylock Partners and Director at EMC Corporation, Imperva and VMware. Dave’s primary areas of focus have been in enterprise technology (infrastructure and especially software); electronic design; and e-commerce. He has been an early/founding investor in more than 30 companies. Among these, more than a dozen which have become publicly-traded, including Mentor Graphics, Ascend Communications, Legato, Forte Software, Doubleclick, Internet Security Systems, and SuccessFactors. A number of other early investments have achieved successful mergers, including ccMail (Lotus/IBM); Kiva Software (Netscape/Sun); Octane Software (ePiphany); Decru (Network Appliance); and Wily (Computer Associates).

    Today Dave is actively involved with seven private companies: AtHoc, BountyJobs, Matrixx Software, OpenDNS, Progreso Financiero, Rich Relevance, and Tabula. He has also been a Board member at EMC (NYSE:EMC) since 2003, and Lead Director since 2006, at VMware (NYSE:VMW) since 2007, and at Imperva (NYSE: IMPV) since 2011.

    Sandhya Venkatachalam is a Founding Partner of Centerview Capital Technology. She brings over 15 years of operational and investment experience and has a passion for building, investing in and growing new businesses. Prior to Centerview, Sandhya was VP/GM and Head of Advertising and Monetization for Skype (acquired by Microsoft). Prior to Skype, Sandhya was Head of Corporate Development for Communications and SaaS at Cisco, and one of the early business executives at Andiamo Systems (acquired by Cisco).

    Sandhya holds an M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and an A.B. in Economics magna cum laude from Harvard University.

Veteran technology executive Norio Murakami was previously responsible for all aspects of Google’s business in Japan as President, General Manager and ultimately Honorary Chairman. He retired from Google in 2011.

Prior to joining Google, he served as President of Docent Japan, where he established the Japanese subsidiary in 2001 and built and oversaw the company’s presence in Japan, creating a strong name for himself and the company in the e-learning industry. He also previously served as President & CEO of Nortel Networks Japan through 2001; prior to his time at Nortel he was managing director of Informix Japan and held management positions at Digital Equipment Corporation Japan.

He is author of several books, including The Murakami Way of Getting Work Done Simply, The Murakami Method for Simple English Learning, and Introduction to Knowledge-based Systems. He currently serves as a professor at the Center for Global Communication of International University, as a special guest professor at the Graduate School of Keio University, and as visiting professor at the Osaka Institute of Technology.

Norio graduated from Kyoto University with a B.S. in engineering.

Its test prep, curriculum, and teacher products are licensed to high schools, libraries and school districts.

    Before her time at Shmoop, Ms. Siminoff was President and CEO of Efficient Frontier, where she built the company to $1 billion in spend under management. Prior to Efficient Frontier, Ms. Siminoff had six years as a founding executive at Yahoo!. During her tenure, she led Business Development, Corporate Development and eventually ran the Small Business and Entertainment Business units, representing approximately 25% of Yahoo's revenue.

    Ellen serves on the board of directors for SolarWinds, Mozilla, and Zynga. In 2005, she was one of eight industry professionals named "Masters of Information" by Forbes magazine.

Prior to his P&G experience, Ken worked for LexisNexis a global provider of content-enabled workflow. Ken continues to Chair the Internet Content Syndication Council’s Advertising Committee (ICSC).

    Ken currently serves on the board of directors at Internet Content Syndication Council.

He also oversaw partnerships in the areas of mobile, social and video.

    Before WMI Digital, Jack held executive roles at Metacafe, AOL, FashionEtc.com, and served as Publisher at Rolling Stone, Teen People and C Magazine.

    From startups to industry leaders Amazon.com and Goldman Sachs, renowned computer scientist and technology industry veteran Darren Vengroff has designed and built a variety of world-class customer-focused scalable applications. As Chief Scientist of RichRelevance, Darren was previously responsible for all of RichRelevance’s analytical and machine learning development—from high-level strategy and analytics, to strategic implementation plans.

    Prior to RichRelevance, Darren was CTO and co-founder of Pelago, Inc. (makers of Whhrl) where he oversaw Pelago’s technology, and a Principal Engineer at Amazon.com with responsibilities in personalization, automated email targeting, time-series analysis, content platform architecture, attribute-based navigation, search, and build and deployment systems. Before Amazon.com, Darren was a VP at Goldman Sachs for six years.

    Darren holds an Sc.M. and PhD in Computer Science from Brown University, where he studied I/O-efficient algorithms with Jeff Vitter, and a B.S.E. in Computer Science with Highest Honors from Princeton University.

    Dan is a senior consumer marketing executive with 14 years of CPG leadership experience at PepsiCo and The Quaker Oats Company. Dan’s broad marketing experience includes base business, innovation, advertising and communications. He launched Propel Fitness Water, Gatorade Endurance Formula, Gatorade X-Factor in addition to many other new brands and sub-brands for PepsiCo. In total, he delivered over $1 Billion of new products into the marketplace. On the Gatorade business, Dan reinvented the marketing strategy for key targets and developed the first digital marketing strategy for the brand. Most recently, Dan served as VP Marketing for PepsiCo’s largest restaurant customers.

    Dan currently serves on the board of directors at Cabrini Green Tutoring Program.

    He holds a MBA from Northwestern University, and a BA in Finance from University of Notre Dame.

He served as Vice President of User Experience & Design for Yahoo! and Vice President of Shopping Experience for Amazon.com. Prior to joining Amazon, he served as President and CEO of Stagecast. Before Stagecast, he was Vice President and Chief Scientist of Apple Computer, Inc., where he managed the AppleNet product division and various advanced development groups. He was the founding Vice President of Apple's Advanced Technology Group (ATG). Tesler’s prior technical career included seven years at Xerox Palo Alto Research Center (PARC). While there, he developed several now-standard user interaction techniques, among them cut/copy-paste editing.

    He holds a BS in Mathematics from Stanford University.

Adify started out building a technology platform and media company focused on vertically focused advertising networks. After raising a Series A from Venrock and a Series B from USVP, Time Warner and NBC, Adify was acquired by Cox Enterprises in 2008 for $300M. He also co-founded SocialShield. He was also SVP of BD at Wine.com, EVP of Corporate Development at comScore (NASDAQ:SCOR) and was among the first employees at Flycast (acquired by CMGi for $2.3B in January 2000).

    Russ currently serves on the board of directors at CoachArt, TubeMogul Inc, and Udemy. He is also an active angel investor in the digital world

    He holds a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School.
