Former Steeler Arrested In Home Invasion Robbery

Mike Jemison Was On Practice Squad

HARRISBURG, Pa. —

A man who formerly played on two pro football practice squads is one of three men accused in a home invasion robbery near Harrisburg.

He's 24-year-old Mike Jemison, of Philadelphia, who was on the New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers practice squads. He was terminated by the Giants last fall.

Police say Jemison and two other men forced their way into a Susquehanna Township apartment just before midnight Wednesday.

Police say they hit a man on the head with a pistol, held his girlfriend on the ground, and stole a handgun when they left.

Jemison played high school football at Greencastle-Antrim in Franklin County. He played college ball at Pitt and Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
