Summary
Professor Tom Kibble CBE FRS is a Senior Research Fellow and Emeritus Professor of Theoretical Physics. His main research interests are in quantum field theory and cosmology, especially symmetry breaking and topological defect formation. He was until 2006 co-chair of the European Science Foundation COSLAB Programme (Cosmology in the Laboratory).
