Mayoral and Stepney Green elections 2015

The elections for a Mayor of Tower Hamlets and a Councillor for Stepney Green ward will take place on Thursday, June 11, 2015.

Nomination packs will be available from Monday 27 April 2015. Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer, 7th Floor, Mulberry Place, on any day after the date of the notice of election, on Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (excluding bank holidays) but no later than 4 pm on Thursday, 14th May 2015.

Key dates

Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at the Town Hall, Mulberry Place, by Tuesday, 26th May 2015.

Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at the Town Hall, Mulberry Place, by 5pm on Wednesday, 27th May 2015.

Applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at the Town Hall, Mulberry Place, by 5pm on Wednesday, 3rd June 2015.

First day to issue Replacement, Spoilt or Lost Postal Ballot Papers - Friday 5 June 2015

Last day to issue Replacement, Spoilt or Lost Postal Ballot Papers - 5:00 pm Thursday 11 June 2015

Last day for receipt of Emergency Proxy Vote applications - 5:00 pm Thursday 11 June 2015
