Mount Serbal (also called Gabal Serbal) is situated in St.Catherine city, south of Sinai, it is 2070 meters high, Mount Serbal is the fifth highest mountain in Egypt, and it was thought to be the biblical Mount Sinai. In the area of this mountain there are some evidences of the 04th century monasteries near to its base, there are also some inscriptions written in Greek that were found at the foot of Mount Serbal. From the top of the mountain, you can see other mountains such as Moses mountain and also you can see the west of Aqaba Gulf. Mount Serbal is also apart of St. Catherine National Park.
