Susannah Desire Bradley
Susannah Desire Bradley was born in Haldiman, Ontario, Oct. 26, 1831, and died at her home in Grout township Wednesday p.m., April 29, aged 83 Wednesday p.m., April 29, aged 83 years, 6 months and 3 days. She was married to Alvin Bradley in 1849 and three days. She was married to Alvin Bradley in 1849 and three years later they moved to Michigan and settled in Sanilac county. In 1891 they moved to Gladwin county and settled in Gladwin township, where they have since resided. Mrs. Bradley suffered a stroker of paralysis Saturday, April 25, form which she never recovered.
She leaves to mourn her loss a husband, two sons, Cleophas and Carlos Bradley, a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren, besides a host of friends and neighbors. She had been a member of the Christian Advent church 40 years, and was a loving wife, a faithful mother and a kind neighbor. She will be missed by a large circle of friends. Funeral services were conducted at her late home by Rev. J. W. Hayward. Saturday morning, May 2. Interment in Grout township..
