Kisnorbo: Appeals decision

Leicester have confirmed they are to appeal the red card shown to Patrick Kisnorbo at the weekend.

The Foxes' woes at falling to a 3-0 defeat to Sheffield United at the weekend were exacerbated by Kisnorbo's dismissal.

The Australian defender was sent-off after only 10 minutes at Bramall Lane following an innocuous-looking tangle with Blades striker Billy Sharp.

Leicester boss Ian Holloway, who branded referee Mike Pike's decision 'embarrassing', is adamant that the Football Association have no alternative other than to rescind the red card.

"Hopefully they will put justice right, because that was the biggest blunder I've seen in a long time," lamented Holloway.

"Hopefully they will look at that and, if that decision stands, I've got two wooden legs."
