How do I cancel the automatic renewal feature for my Vault Gold Membership?

In order to provide continuous service, your Vault Gold Membership automatically renews at the end of each term.

To cancel automatic renewals, sign in to your account, and click on the arrow to the right of "myVault" on the top navigation bar to display the myVault drop-down menu. (You must be logged in to see "myVault" on the top navigation bar.) Select "My Account" on the drop-down menu, and then click "Cancel Gold Membership Auto-Renewal" in the Manage Account section. Click the "Yes, Turn Off My Gold Membership Auto-Renew" button in the pop-up to confirm.

Please note that if you cancel the auto-renewal option, you will still have access to Gold content until the end of your current term.  The account will become a free basic membership after the term ends.

Will I get partial credit back if I choose to cancel before my membership term is up?

No, we do not monitor individual accounts in order to determine refunds based upon partial usage. In accordance with the subscription agreement, the individual subscriber is responsible for the terms of his or her subscription. This includes the price plan under which he or she is billed, and the cancellation of accounts before the automatic renewal date.

How much does Vault Gold Membership cost?

Vault offers a range of Gold Membership plans based on the term length of the membership. Visit our membership page for full details.

Can I receive a trial period of Vault Gold Membership?

No, Vault does not offer trial periods of its Gold Membership.

How do I cancel my membership?

To completely cancel your account, sign in to your account, and click on the arrow to the right of "myVault" on the top navigation bar to display the myVault drop-down menu. (You must be logged in to see "myVault" on the top navigation bar.) Select "My Account" on the drop-down menu, and then click "Deactivate My Account" in the Manage Account section. Click the "Yes, Deactivate My Account" button to confirm.

How do I add or delete newsletters?

To add or delete newsletters, sign in to your account, and click on the arrow to the right of "myVault" on the top navigation bar to display the myVault drop-down menu. (You must be logged in to see "myVault" on the top navigation bar.) Select "My Account" on the drop-down menu. In the Email Preferences section of the My Account page, select the checkboxes for newsletters to add, or clear the checkboxes for newsletters to delete.

How do I update my account information (e.g., change my name or password)?

To update your name or password, sign in to your account, and click on the arrow to the right of "myVault" on the top navigation bar to display the myVault drop-down menu. (You must be logged in to see "myVault" on the top navigation bar.) Select "My Account" on the drop-down menu. In the Account Settings and Login section of the My Account page, click the blue pencil to edit your account settings. Make any updates in the pop-up box, and then click the Save button. To edit your password, click the blue pencil to the right of the password field. Update your password on the Change Password page, and then click the Save Changes button. You cannot change the email address associated with your Vault account.

How do I unsubscribe from Vault product announcements or partner e-mails?

To unsubscribe from Vault product announcements or partner emails, sign in to your account, and click on the arrow to the right of "myVault" on the top navigation bar to display the myVault drop-down menu. (You must be logged in to see "myVault" on the top navigation bar.) Select "My Account" on the drop-down menu. In the Email Preferences section of the My Account page, clear the checkbox(es) for “Vault Announcements and Promotions” and/or “Vault Partner Emails.”

I am not sure whether my login information is correct.

Click "Forgot Password?" on the login page. Follow the prompts to have instructions for re-setting your password e-mailed to you. To ensure that you receive the email, please add members@staff.vault.com to your email contacts.
