Education
20 years on from Tony Blair’s triplicate statement of intent, education remains a crucial part of the UK government’s agenda. 2015 saw the opening of the first new grammar school in half a century, and with academies and free schools achieving rapid and impressive results, education is undergoing both reinvention and revolution. The Debrett’s Foundation aims to support and champion social mobility by offering training, mentoring and work experience opportunities to sixth form students, and our Education list acknowledges those who work tirelessly to invigorate and inspire young people, across the primary, secondary, further, and higher educational systems.
