I’m sure he’ll be fine
“Blessed are the cursed, for they have seen beauty
Blessed is the man who sits in the seat of the damned
Whose delight is in the death of the world
Which passes in the day and in the night
For he shall he as the tree in the flames bearing fruit and nectar out of season
The godly are not so, the ungodly are the chaff that the storm drives away
For EACSTAIS knows the way of the righteous and the unrighteous”
Unknown, inscription on the base of pagan ruins in Tetrest
Though the death of these rabbits is more than a bit gratuitously rendered, I must applaud the way that the smoke and flames of the background image are drawn so that they meld with those in the first panel, creating an overall effect which allows the two images to be appreciated both separately and as one. Well done.
The lack of an alt text joke is a bit disappointing, but perhaps it’s compensated for by the fact that she just pardoned herself to a charred corpse.
Well there’s an alt-text comment there now. It’s a quote from “Conan The Barbarian”. Odd, though; I don’t remember it ending that way.
Have to wonder if they took the feet too. Would aid in ultimatums if they can present two sets of charred rabbit to those they want to surrender or Else.
