Common Weal are delighted to present Butterfly Rammy,  a cultural project for this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival exploring politics and the arts in Scotland.

The project will see 18 unique shows and a complementary book of commissioned work, with each chapter and corresponding show based around one Scots word that represents ‘Butterfly Rammy’—the multiple and diverse thinking and activism that developed through the independence movement.

Join our hosts Pauline Goldsmith and Tam Dean Burn as they guide you through Common Weal's take on Scotland's recent political awakening. Throughout August they'll be joined by an ever changing line up of musicians, thinkers and troublemakers for a political cabaret of performance, debate and humour. Check out our Rammy Podcasts for audio recordings of each show so far!

All shows at 12.20pm, Stand in the Square, St Andrew's Square, Edinburgh.
