David Kosse

Director, Film4

Brought in by Channel 4 to ensure their film-making arm continued to punch above its weight on the international scene, David Kosse assumed his role as director of Film4 at the end of 2014. Having established his reputation in the film industry after a decade at Universal Pictures, where he was one of the key decision makers behind box office hits such as Mamma Mia! and the Bourne franchise, Kosse took up the role at Film4 citing his passion for and support of the British film industry. Now, a year and a half into his role, seven projects backed by Film4 have received a record 22 BAFTA nominations at the beginning of 2016.
