I feel privileged and honoured to announce the album launch of the Spanish singer Lantalba. It is called “La Chica de los Ojos Dorados” (“The Girl With The Golden Eyes) and is her third long play to date. I first came into contact with her in 2007 when my side project Hotel Persona shared Spanish management with her just prior to her first album release “Desorden Y Amor”. I became a fan of her melancholic pop and have since collaborated with her both as a guest guitarist live, as well as remixing an early single “Siempre” with Hotel Persona. When it came to her 2013 EP “El Encanto”, she asked if I would help mix and do some arranging, and I was more than happy to help. This project ran over into more new songs and before I knew it, I was producing her next album. She was then based in Berlin and we recorded and mixed between there and London. I will forever be in her debt for trusting me to produce and arrange my first album for an artist!! It was a testing process, but we both feel it is some of her best work!
