Alannah Weston

Alannah Weston was credited with restoring an element of glamour to Selfridges in her role as creative director, which she held for ten years, and in 2014 she was promoted to deputy chairman. Daughter of chairman W Galen Weston, she oversaw a decade of innovation and creativity at the group's century-old flagship store as creative director, changing the layout, opening up windows and launching The Shoe Galleries, the largest shoe department in the world. Weston also introduced live performance and used Selfridges' iconic windows to promote causes such as Project Ocean. As deputy chairman, she brings her strategic and creative expertise to Selfridges' growing portfolio of shops globally.
