Professor Mona Siddiqui

Professor of Islamic and Interreligious Studies, University of Edinburgh

British Muslim academic Professor Mona Siddiqui is professor of Islamic and Interreligious Studies at New College, University of Edinburgh. The well-respected theologian is an authority on the subject of Islam, specialising in classical Islamic law and Christian-Muslim relations, and is often consulted on issues such as the rise of IS and extremist threats. In 2011, Siddiqui was appointed OBE for her services to inter-faith relations.
