Extra Services

Most photographers supply extra services over and above the standard wedding album. It is important to read through the various photography packages on offer to decide what is suitable.

The couple can arrange, often at a cost, to receive a disc of digital images. This is a good idea as they can then share prints with friends and family at a rate considerably cheaper than buying them from the professional photographer.

Alternatively, many photographers post a selection online for guests to view and purchase via the internet.

Sometimes the disc will just be of the 'final cut' from the wedding album; more expensive packages include discs of every shot taken on the day.

Extra albums for parents or relatives can be arranged. They may be a mini-version of the bride and groom's album, for example.

Creating a printed, hardback book is a popular idea: the couple receives a hardback colour picture book instead of an album with prints inside.

Photographers can also arrange for special photographs to be professionally printed, mounted and framed.
