The University of Georgia Police Department maintains an open pool of applicants for the position of Police Officer. Those meeting the minimum qualifications are welcome to apply online. Written applications are also accepted, but typed applications are preferred.
To apply as an officer, you must be:
- At least 21 years old
- A citizen of the United States
- A high school graduate or GED recipient
- A licensed driver
If you meet these qualifications:
- First, print and complete the UGA Police Department Application for Employment.
- Second, complete a UGA Application for Classified Employment.
