Boat, Snowmobile and ATV Registrations

Fond du Lac, Wisconsin – September 13, 2010 – Owners of recreational vehicles will welcome a new service being offered at the Fond du Lac County Clerk’s office.

According to County Clerk Lisa Freiberg, as an authorized vehicle registration agent with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the County Clerk’s office can now process boat, snowmobile and ATV registrations.

Those wishing to utilize this service are encouraged to bring along any pertinent information that would assist with the registration process, including title, registration card and DNR customer number.

At the time of registration, customers will have the opportunity to receive their decals immediately by paying an expedited service fee. Please note that only cash or check are accepted for payment.

The vehicle registration service complements the County Clerk’s already existing ability to sell DNR licenses. Customers are reminded they can visit the office, 160 S. Macy St., Fond du Lac, for all of their hunting and fishing license needs.

The Fond du Lac County Clerk’s office, (920) 929-3000, is available to answer questions Monday through Friday between 7:45 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
