 The Fond du Lac County parks offer a number of shelters and halls for use by park users. These shelters vary from small rectangle open air structures to larger completely enclosed octagons. Most shelters offer electricity and lighting and are furnished with wooden picnic tables.
Columbia Park Shelter

Open air shelters located at Highway 45 Wayside, Wolf Lake, Riggs Park and an octagon open air shelter at Columbia Park are offered to park users at no charge. These shelters are offered to the public on a first come, first served basis. No reservation required. Open air and enclosed shelters/halls located at Columbia Park, Shaginappi Park, and Waupun County Park are offered to park users at a set fee. Park users wishing to reserve a shelter or hall need to reserve the structure and are required to pay a deposit upon reserving. Reservations for all reservable halls/shelters can be made January 1st thru September 18th through our new reservation system at www.fdlcountyparks.com.

Indoor facility with kitchen and seating for 110
Used for meeting, lectures, family and business events.

Alcohol Permit

Park users reserving shelters or halls for group events must remember to obtain an alcohol permit through the county if alcohol is being served. If group events exceed 74 people a special deputy from the County Sheriff’s Department is required. Information regarding hiring a special deputy can be found at the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Department.
