A seriously injured Victorian man was rescued off Knuckle Reef in the Great Barrier Reef on Saturday, March 12, after his anchor chain snapped and whipped him in the face, according to RACQ CQ Rescue. The man, 38, was fishing when the incident occurred and managed to radio for help. The ExoMars probe launched aboard a Proton-M rocket on March 14 from the Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. The joint mission to Mars by the European and Russian space agencies will use a Trace Gas Orbiter to test for atmospheric gases such as methane that could have a biological source.
