Come join our audience teams in the recording of our NEW podcast. It's a Comedy Topical Quiz with lots of laughs, jokes & games. We divide the audience into teams and let the fun begin. The Podcast is then put online. Plus 3 top standup comics.
Our new podcast plans to combine all the things we like in a show. Lots of off the cuff wit, audience participation, lampooning of current events and social mores all contained within a quiz format to drive the audience teams’ lust for (a rather mild) glory. There will be parody news items, questions, debates, games and an attempt to write a topical comedy song at the end of each show based on audience suggestions.
The audience will be divided into two teams such as males and females, people who live west or east of the venue, or most divisively, tea-drinkers who put the milk in before or after the hot water! So the stakes will be high with the pride of each team on the line.
To give examples, teams will have to answer an obscure question about someone in the news or provide as many adjectives as possible for each letter of a politician's name. It’s an over 18 show so things could get colourful.
After the recording we'll have 3 top stand up comedians from the UK circuit to round off the night.
We will then upload the Podcast online so audiences can check it out later and share their life-alteringly brilliant night with their friends.
The Podcast will be co-hosted by musical comedian Roddy Fraser and a revolving rota of his pals from the stand up circuit. The main emphasis will be on laughs and everyone having a good time but we may also have short debates on important issues such as the likelihood of the two possible future leaders of the Anglosphere having the worst hair in human history.
