- Research training and Doctoral School
-
The Doctoral School at Sussex supports doctoral students and research alongside our schools of studies. Sussex has over 1200 doctoral researchers who are vital to our vibrant intellectual culture, and the Doctoral School offers guidance, training and professional development support, as well as access to funding opportunities.
The Doctoral School advises on doctoral studentship funding, hosts the Economic and Social Research Council Doctoral Training Centre, and co-ordinates an Arts and Humanities Doctoral Training Partnership. The Researcher Development Programme offers doctoral and early career researchers year-round, essential research skills training and development opportunities to help you succeed with your doctorate and prepare for your future.
