Cheryl Confirms Reggie N Bollie Have Landed A Record Deal

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has something very exciting to announce.

Her X Factor act Reggie N Bollie have been signed! The 32-year-old confirmed the news with an Instagram snap yesterday, writing: ‘It is official!!! @reggienbollie have a record deal and have been signed by syco.

‘I am so proud of them! & It couldn’t have happened to two nicer people ! #ReggienBolliewepopchampagne. watch this space [sic].’ Aw. Chezza appeared to become close to Reggie N Bollie during their time on The X Factor, helping them land in second place behind winner Louisa Johnson.

However, she wasn’t the only one who was thrilled with their latest update. The singers (understandably) were also incredibly happy, Tweeting: ‘We are officially signed to @syco.

‘More hit songs n entertainment from 2016 n beyond.#ReggienBollieInvasion.’

Syco – Simon Cowell’s record label – confirmed the news by writing on their page: ‘The duo will release their album later in 2016.’

It seems Reggie N Bollie are going to be pretty busy over the next few months. But they had the perfect place to let off some steam last night – the National Television Awards. They sat alongside Caroline Flack at London’s O2 Arena, captioning a snap of them together: ‘Seated beside the gorgeous @carolineflack1 at the NTA.’

Unfortunately, The X Factor lost out on the Talent Show gong to Strictly Come Dancing. But we’re sure that didn’t dampen Reggie N Bollie’s evening. They also received plenty of sweet messages from their co-stars, with 17-year-old Louisa saying: ‘go on boys!!!’

The Xtra Factor presenter Rochelle Humes praised: ‘So so happy for 2 of my favourite boys @ReggieNBollie for signing to @syco music..Big congratulations. can’t wait to see you both.’ It’s no doubt that the announcement will have cheered up Cheryl, who’s reported to have filed for divorce from husband Jean-Bernard earlier this month.

And we’re sure she’s got lots of advice for her boys. We wonder what they’ll do next…

Jean-Bernard wants a payoff… Cheryl wants a vow of silence

CHERYL Fernandez-Versini will demand a divorce deal that stops estranged husband Jean-Bernard revealing her secrets.

Her friends say the French playboy has told Cheryl he will contest the divorce — and wants a £3million settlement.

Jean-Bernard, 34, is said to believe X Factor star Cheryl has millions squirrelled away.

But she insists he has vastly over-estimated her wealth.

A family friend said: “JB has been coming up with some ridiculous figures as he devises what he thinks is a fair split of their joint assets. He’s said he is looking for £3million.” Cheryl, who does not have a pre-nuptial agreement with Jean-Bernard, wants any divorce deal to include a clause that forbids him revealing marriage secrets.

She has ordered lawyers to include a confidentiality agreement in any legal settlement.

A source said: “Cheryl is terrified that JB will try to cash in on their relationship.

“Lawyers have put forward divorce papers which include a requirement that Jean-Bernard does not talk publicly about their marriage.”

On Friday night Cheryl, 32, arrived at best friend Kimberley Walsh’s hen do at West London’s Cuckoo Club and was not wearing her wedding ring. In Instagram pictures Jean-Bernard continues to wear his.

Cheryl, who will be a bridesmaid at former Girls Aloud bandmate Kimberley’s wedding, turned up at the club flanked by two minders and wearing a crop top and leopard-spot leggings

A friend said: “Cheryl was definitely the guest of honour and really needed to let her hair down after a very difficult month.

“It is doing the rounds Jean-Bernard is digging his heels in about the divorce and this has wound Cheryl up.

“But she is refusing to let this show and just wants to move forward from the whole mess.”

Kimberley, 34, who will marry ex-Triple 8 singer Justin Scott in Barbados later this month, booked the entire ground floor restaurant for the hen party.

She had originally planned for drag queens and dancers to entertain guests but they were ditched at the eleventh hour when a fee could not be agreed.

A source said: “Kimberley’s people argued there should be no fee because the drag queens would have received exposure as part of a magazine deal. In the real world businesses don’t work like that.”

The Sun on Sunday told last week how Cheryl was ending the volatile 19-month marriage over Jean-Bernard’s jealousy.

He was said to dislike her spending time with other men and even the amount of time she devoted to her chihuahuas Coco and Buster.

Cheryl has claimed she and Jean-Bernard are still friends but sources say the split is not amicable.

The Geordie singer’s personal fortune has been estimated at £12million.

She bought a £5million home in Hertfordshire last year. Cheryl’s biggest earner is her role as an X Factor judge. She has a £2million-a-year contract — £500,000 more than she earned on her return to the show in 2014.

Cheryl steps out for first public appearance since JB split. Cheryl has been paid £500,000 a year to be the face of L’Oreal Paris since 2009.

Chart successes — including co-writing credits and royalties as a solo artist and a former member of Girls Aloud — are believed to be worth a further £1million.

She also successfully sued US X Factor when the show dropped her after she had filmed just one episode in 2011.

Cheryl launched a £1.4million suit for loss of earnings. US court documents showed she was promised £1.1million for the show’s first series and £1.2million for the second.

The contract was a “pay or play” deal, common in the US, by which salary is paid even if the star is sacked. A settlement was reached out of court.

Cheryl has also released books, her own perfume and range of fake eyelashes — ventures believed to be worth more than £1.2million.

She recently spoke of wanting to set up her own record label.

Cheryl and Jean-Bernard were married on the Caribbean island of Mustique in August 2014 in a surprise ceremony attended by just four guests. The couple had met only three months earlier in Cannes. Before they wed Jean-Bernard was described as a playboy by a US newspaper. It said he developed a reputation as a ladies’ man while at university in New York.

He was said to have taken a year off studying to party.

It was also reported he spent his summers on the French Riviera and his winters in St Barts in the Caribbean with “an entourage of models”.

Jean-Bernard was Cheryl’s third love following her divorce from ex-Chelsea star Ashley Cole.

Following their divorce in September 2010, she had a brief romance with dancer Derek Hough.

Her only other serious relationship was a 14-month relationship with American dancer Tre Holloway.

CHERYL has drawn up a list of requirements for her next man.

Sitting down with mum Joan, who joined her at Kimberley Walsh’s hen do, Cheryl agreed her next partner:

— MUST be able to speak English.

— MUST never have dated a celeb.

— MUST never have seen X Factor.

A family friend said: “There was a language barrier with Jean-Bernard.

“Cheryl also will not see anyone who has dated a celeb.

“And it was Joan who suggested he shouldn’t watch X Factor.

“He’ll date Cheryl Tweedy of Newcastle, not because of her profile.”

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini to divorce husband Jean-Bernard after 18 months of marriage

The X Factor judge has not been spotted with her husband for a number of weeks

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is to divorce her French husband after 18 months of marriage, the Sunday Mirror can reveal today.

The X Factor judge has begun formal legal proceedings by filing paperwork which cites irreconcilable differences between her and partner Jean-Bernard.

We can disclose the former Girls Aloud singer secretly split with Jean-Bernard FIVE MONTHS ago.

But they are determined to remain close friends.

An insider said today: “In the end Cheryl realised she had married too soon and had been swept away by a bit of a whirlwind romance.

“Over time it became clear to each of them that they were very different people and from very different worlds.

“They are now focusing on making sure they stay friends. The divorce is amicable and they have both said they will always be there for each other.”

The pair were last seen together in public in October – hand-in-hand at the joint 40th birthday bash for I’m A Celeb hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly. Fans saw it as a united front but in reality the relationship had ended two months earlier and the pair attended the party together as close friends.

Cheryl and Jean-Bernard married on the island of Mustique in July 2014. The surprise wedding followed a courtship lasting just a few months and Cheryl has told those close to her she now realises it was too soon.

The couple have taken their time to file divorce papers because they wanted to be absolutely certain about their decision to call it a day. Cheryl is worth an estimated £20million but is understood that they have no pre-nuptial agreement.

A source confirmed that the former couple have completed legal documents to end their marriage citing “irreconcilable differences”.

The source explained: “They actually split up in August. They are still very good friends but are now getting a divorce. “By the time of Ant and Dec’s party they were just close friends who still enjoy spending time together. They were having a great time with their friends but there was nothing intimate by that stage. In the end they found they got on well but in reality probably got married too soon.

“But JB has said he’ll always be there to support her when she needs him and he’s a very honourable guy.”

The insider said that reports of Jean-Bernard “abandoning” Cheryl to go on business trips to Miami had been completely unfair to him – insisting that the pair had stayed very friendly throughout. The source added: “It was unfair for people to criticise him for being away on business. “He hadn’t done anything wrong.”

Jean-Bernard has now completely moved out of the London home he shared with Cheryl and is spending most of his time in the United States. Rumours of a rocky patch in the marriage surfaced at the end of last year after JB failed to attend filming of The X Factor. His absence meant Cheryl faced a barrage of speculation about the marriage and even cruel questions about her slimline appearance.

But the rumours subsided slightly when Jean-Bernard made a public statement of support for his wife in November – insisting he would “put my life on the line” for her. The nightclub and restaurant entrepreneur wrote on his Instagram page: “I normally don’t read or comment. But the truth is that even when my dad died I put my life on the line for my wife.

“Yes I am working like everybody else to put food on the table but my priority is my wife as this is the last person that is family. This is just nonsense.

“What matters is family and my wife is my only one left so if she needs me I am always going to be there. My wife Cheryl is my priority, nothing else.”

That heartfelt statement came despite their decision to separate and JB remains committed to supporting Cheryl in her personal life and career. This week she hinted at optimism for the New Year, revealing to fans she plans to get back in the recording studio to start work on her next album.

Alongside a sultry black and white snap, she wrote: “I think its time for the studio! It is 2016.”

Two days later she posted an image of herself flashing a beaming smile, describing it as indicative of her current “mood”.

And on Friday she followed up with a slightly cryptic message of empowerment to other women, hinting at her frustrations over ongoing gossip.

It read: “Sending love to women out there trying to love themselves in a world that constantly tells them not to.”

The upbeat messages came following Cheryl’s admission on New Year’s Eve that she was “happy to see the back”
of 2015.

She wrote: “You have taught me a lot but I am happy to see the back of you! Happy New Year everyone.

“I hope this year brings you everything you wished for and is filled with happiness, love and laughter!”

Cheryl met Jean-Bernard through mutual friends in early 2014 and became close during the Cannes Film Festival where he was running his Cosy Box pop-up restaurant.

The venue is a haven for celebrities and Jean-Bernard has hosted A-listers including The Rolling Stones and mixed with stars including Ryan Gosling and Benicio del Toro.

But even Cheryl and JB’s closest friends had no idea of what was to come when the pair went abroad to marry a few months later.

The pair haven’t been spotted together for weeks but Jean-Bernard was pictured wearing his wedding ring in a photograph on Instagram yesterday. The wedding was attended by just four guests including Cheryl’s mum Joan and her personal assistant and close friend Lily England.

Cheryl was previously married to footballer Ashley Cole. She filed for divorce in 2010 after four years of marriage after reports he’d cheated on her.

A representative for Cheryl refused to comment.

Cheryl announce plans for new album

X Factor judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has revealed plans for a new album.

The singer didn’t release any new music this year but vowed that she would be back in the charts in 2016.

“My main priority is my Christmas dinner and my chocolates, then I’ll get started,” she said this week.

However Cheryl wasn’t putting any exact date on when we can expect her new record.

She explained this week: “I don’t know how long the process will take.

“It will depend on how inspired I am songwriting or whether I get sent the right songs, but I’m definitely looking forward to getting back into the studio and working on music again.”

Cheryl’s musical success hasn’t quite lived up to expectations recently; her previous album was her lowest selling yet after receiving mixed reviews from critics. Here’s hoping whatever’s next is more 3 Words than Only Human.

Meanwhile, The X Factor will also be back next year but it remains to be seen whether or not Cheryl will be returning to the panel again.

Speaking to us ahead of the final last weekend, Cheryl quipped that she was more focused on festive food.

“I don’t know what’s going to happen next year,” the now X Factor veteran judge admitted. “We don’t ever have these conversations because trust me, this time [of year] you’re so stressed, you can’t even think about what you’re going to do next year, you can only think about Christmas dinner and some time off.”

While Cheryl’s spot on the show is up in the air, X Factor boss Simon Cowell has already said he intends to be back for what will be the thirteenth series.

Cheryl might not be spending Christmas with her husband this year

It may be a lonely Christmas for Cheryl Fernandez-Versini as new reports suggest she may be spending the holiday season without her husband, Jean-Bernard.

The star has reportedly had an ‘exhausting’ few weeks as her act Reggie ‘N’ Bollie made it to the final of The X Factor and she dealt with the pressures of falling TV ratings and social commentary over her weight.

JB has been noticeably missing from all the action having been a firm fixture by her side during the 2014 series of the singing competition.

Now friends are allegedly concerned that she was left alone as JB flew to Miami to holiday with friends.
‘It’s so odd that JB would leave Cheryl at a time when she is so exhausted after the most stressful week of her year,’ a source told The Sun.

‘She’s also had to face all the talk about her marriage alone and it can’t have been easy.’

JB reportedly stayed in a luxury five star hotel surrounded by his friends and spent time taking part in boxing bouts, ‘just like the old days’, but friends hoped that he would return for the final of the ITV reality show last week.

‘All this talk would go away if they would just step out together,’ the source said.

The pair married in July 2014 after meeting three months earlier. They were last spotted together in October at Ant and Dec’s birthday party.

‘It’s very telling that no one will say if they are physically together or not after such a long time apart,’ added the source.

Metro.co.uk have contacted reps for Cheryl for comment.

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini Opens Up About Ashley Cole’s Cheating

The ‘X Factor’ judge spoke to InStyle about what it was like to go through a divorce in the public eye.

Over five years after they broke up, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has opened up about how she felt when she found that ex-husband Ashley Cole had been unfaithful to her.

The 32 year old ‘X Factor’ contestant and former Girls Aloud member spoke about the devastation she felt when she had to perform at the BRIT Awards in February 2010, just moments after news broke of Cole’s infidelity.

Later that month, she announced that she was filing for divorce, but she admitted that while she remained stoic in the public eye, behind the scenes it was a very different story.

“To be honest, I coped in public and crumbled in private,” she tells InStyle magazine in a new interview. “It’s growth, it’s life. They say a good sailor would never be a good sailor if he hadn’t experienced a rough sea.”

Fernandez-Versini, born Cheryl Tweedy, had married Chelsea and England footballer Ashley Cole in July 2006, and they were a high-powered couple in the mould of ‘Posh and Becks’ for their four-year marriage. However, they were more or less continually dogged by rumours of Cole cheating, and she also reveals in the new interview that people who had criticised her for initially standing by him had now apologised to her.

“It’s funny – those who didn’t understand my actions at the time have now had that happen to them and they get it. A friend of mine told me her husband was having an affair and she said, ‘I understand everything that must have been going through your head. But what I will never understand is how you had to face the world’.”

Now happily married to French restauranteur Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini since last year, she spoke in the past about how she sought medical help in the aftermath of the very public divorce in order to gain perspective on life.

“I was walking crazyville,” she told The Times magazine. “I had no fire in me belly. I didn’t feel passionate any more, just a bit dead. Getting out of bed was difficult.”

Happy Birthday Cheryl!

I would like to say Happy 32nd Birthday to Cheryl. She has given us a great album this past year and a wicked return to X Factor. Next we can see Miss. Cheryl proudly return to the X Factor UK panel with Simon Cowell sometime in the fall. Hope she had a great birthday!

Cheryl Cole to be the only woman on the panel

This year’s X Factor 2015 judging line up will see Cheryl Fernandez-Versini as the only women, according to the latest reports.

The X Factor rumour mill continues today with claims that show bosses will sign up two guys to join the show alongside Simon Cowell and Cheryl.

According to The Sun newspaper, Radio 1 Breakfast DJ Nick Grimshaw is “all but signed” while talks are under way to secure the fourth and final member of the panel.

“Ever since the panel moved from three to four judges there have been two men and two women, but it looks like that is going to change,” a source said today. “[Simon] will definitely be back, as will Cheryl. Grimmy’s just a formality, so the X Factor team is currently searching for a really big-name male.”

It will of course mean no more ‘fashion battles’ or claims of backstage bitching, which never seemed to happen between any of the male judges.

As for who the other new member of the panel could be, One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson has been backed into 6/4 from 2/1 with bookies Boylesports although Robbie Williams has also shortened for the role and can now be backed at 7/2 form 5/1.

However speaking earlier this week, Simon insisted that Louis Walsh had NOT been axed… yet.

The music mogul said: “Louis is a great friend and a brilliant judge but we really still haven’t made any final decisions.

“And just to be clear, when they say, ‘Cowell wields axe!’ I’m not the only one making the decision – there’s about 30 people involved.”

The X Factor will be back on ITV in the autumn.

Forget it, Cheryl will RETURN to X – Factor UK for 2015 Year

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini will apparently be back in her judges’ chair for The X Factor 2016.

According to The Sun, Simon Cowell told the singer that she will be back on the show ‘at all costs’.

But while Chezza is safe and sound, her fellow judges Mel B and Louis Walsh are reportedly ‘at risk’.

A source said: ‘They haven’t signed a deal yet but Simon, Cheryl and ITV are all on the same page. But that’s really bad news for Mel. She had a good first year but bosses want a new line-up.’

Of course nothing is confirmed at this stage, and The X Factor just wouldn’t be the same without stalwart Louis.

It looks like the shake-up has already started. Last week, host Dermot O’Leary announced he was leaving the show after eight years.

‘I’d like to wish the team all the best for the future, especially whoever takes over from me’ he tweeted.

‘You’re about to be the conductor on the most brilliant, runaway train in showbiz.’

The X Factor are launching their biggest auditions ever for the series this year, visiting 50 towns around the UK and Ireland.
