Sean Faris and Mehcad Brooks to Star in Indie Thriller 'Avouterie' (Exclusive)

Mehcad Brooks and Sean Faris

A man keeps his cheating wife and her lover captive at gunpoint

Pretty Little Liars actor Sean Faris and Necessary Roughness star Mehcad Brooks will star in the indie thriller Avouterie.

Faris stars as a man who returns home to find his wife (Danielle Savre) cheating on him on their anniversary. He holds her and her naked and humiliated lover (Brooks) captive at gunpoint while he decides whether or not he's going to kill them. The story, inspired by true events, takes place over one day and is set in New Orleans during a stifling heat wave.

Producer-turned-directed H. M. Coakley, who also wrote the Black List script, is helming the project, which is shooting in Los Angeles. Monica Floyd and Mark E. Walker are producing with Marc Porterfield executive producing.

Faris can currently be seen on ABC Family's hit Pretty Little Liars as Officer Gabriel Holbrook, and recently appeared in the CW spinoff pilot Supernatural: Bloodlines.

Brooks is coming off of his series regular gig on USA’s Necessary Roughness. His other TV credits include True Blood and Dollhouse and, on the film side, he most recently appeared in comedy About Last Night.

Faris and Brooks are both repped by Mosaic and Gersh.
