Our Local Ministry Leaders

Mark Driscoll
Mark DriscollSenior & Founding Pastor
Our Founding and Senior Pastor, Mark Driscoll, is a Jesus-following, mission-leading, church-serving, people-loving, Bible-preaching pastor.
He’s grateful to be a nobody trying to tell everybody about Somebody.

Born in North Dakota, Pastor Mark grew up the son of a union drywaller in south Seattle.

At the age of 17, a young woman named Grace gave Mark, a non-practicing Catholic, a leather Bible with his name embossed on it. It was the event that would change his life forever, because he was born again reading that same Bible in college.

Our Ministry Staff

Our staff does the work of pastors and deacons by equipping and empowering church members to carry out the ministry mission through leading, serving, and giving.

Associate Pastor Andy Girton was born and raised in a small town in the Midwest. Soon after moving to the Northwest with his family, he met his high school sweetheart and future wife Darlene. Shortly after high school, Andy and Darlene married and started a family.

Through involvement in a church plant in a small suburb of Seattle, they were both baptized as believers and began volunteering in ministry together. The Girtons helped plant two churches, assisted in a church merger, and led various teams. Today, they have a son and a daughter who love the Lord and also serve alongside their parents in ministry.

Associate Pastor Brandon Andersen grew up north of Seattle, was raised in church, and became a Christian at an early age.

The son of a homebuilder, Brandon received a Bachelors in Business Administration in 2005 from Trinity Western University outside Vancouver BC, and followed his father’s footsteps into residential construction.

Everything changed in the fall of 2008 when Brandon was unexpectedly asked to come on staff at his local church. That led to 6 years working in church operations, including 2.5 years as Executive Pastor, and planting a new church.
