. . . though IMDb numbers it as being the 153rd of "The Dukes'" 166 theatrically-released feature films. However, this same site includes a Wayne "Mini Bio" by "Ed Stephen" which asserts that Wayne "appeared in nearly 250 movies." I think that it's a national scandal of monumental proportions that there are up to 84 John Wayne films being suppressed from the American Public. Given this gentleman's penchant for creative revisionism (he was born "Marion Robert Morrison," after all, but was renamed "Marion Mitchell Morrison" before deciding that he liked "Marion Michael Morrison" even better, and "John Wayne" best of all), who knows what Unknown Facts about the U.S.A. may have been slapped on the Big Screen by "The Duke" that we're all missing out on now. Don't forget the fact that it was Wayne who Reimagined THE ALAMO as a Texican "Fight for Freedom," rather than the beginning of a successful effort to RE-ENSLAVE the Free Blacks of Mexico's Texas Province. Plus, if anyone can actually sit through THE GREEN BERETS in this 21st Century, they will see a crystal clear depiction of the title characters bringing nothing but Torture, Gang Rapes, Death, and Destruction to Vietnam. Maybe if we can discover the 84 missing Wayne flicks we'll learn that the South actually won the American Civil War (which would explain WHY "Red State" Taliban-style precepts prevail in America today), and that the Axis really won World War Two (which would provide an explanation for today's U.S. highways being clogged with Japanese, German, and Italian makes, such as Toyota, VW, and Chrysler).
