About my research
My current research is multidisciplinary. It focuses on value clarifications and belief systems in language teaching and media.
This is a slice of a big picture that requires collaboration and funding. I have, as part of the multidisciplinary variables, the issues of attitude formation, culture and choices as they affect language teaching and learning, the emerging language of social media as a variety of English and the place of peace linguistics to promote relationships across cultures.

About my research
I work in the field of monogenetic volcanism by studying the physical volcanology and geochemistry of the Newer Volcanics Province, Victoria, Australia. I am currently working towards the end of my PhD, which focuses on the geochemical evolution of Mt. Rouse. In the future, I would like to perform further research into monogenetic volcanoes, perhaps through isotopic analysis and studies of melt inclusions to try and constrain depths of melting and the nature of the source regions.

About my research
Throughout the course of my studies, I have developed a keen interest in issues pertaining to terrorist radicalisation with both my postgraduate research project and current doctoral thesis focussing largely on exploring this important global concern. Specifically, the crux of my PhD research lies in determining whether Complexity Theory provides the conceptual framework through which we may better understand the dynamic processes of terrorist radicalisation.
