Hello and Welcome -

My name is Laurie ... this Website is the result of a life long passion. Through a lot of determination and effort, that passion grew into this website... All-Things-Emergency-Prepared.com.

I grew-up a preacher’s kid and I believe that God provides us with many resources. Even though I was raised in the city, I always believed in my heart, I should have been a prairie girl. From an early age I started training myself to be prepared.  I sought out any home skill I could learn.  I started making my own clothes when I was 8 and helped my mom put up the family garden every year at harvest time...My friends thought I was crazy.  I have always bought in bulk, canned at harvest time and stored extra of the necessities.

I often ask myself, “What do I need to do to keep my family safe and fed in case of an emergency?”

At this point in my life God has given me the task of caring for my husband with numerous health problems. That in itself has taught me some new skills, like emergency medical training, as well as being prepared for whatever financial disasters come our way. Because of a sick husband, working from home is imperative hence my Emergency Preparedness Website was born.

The majority of this Site is a single effort put out by myself. I use the terms [I, We, Us] in the content on the site because my husband Dan, is also my partner in everything I do.

Our goal here -- is to help people be prepared with the best information and products we can find for each purpose. Above all, we want to make this website something of value for everyone who visits.

When you and those you love are prepared, physically and/or spiritually, it relieves the fear and anxiety, and leaves you with a peace of mind and heart in knowing that you truly are prepared for uncertain or disastrous times.

“I am leaving you with a gift — peace of mind and heart.
And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give.
So don’t be troubled or afraid." (John 14:27)

We hope you enjoy the site, and if you have comments, suggestions, an experience, or even a review on a product you have purchased, please feel free to contact us to let us know.

Thanks for visiting! ~ Laurie
