When the computer scientist Randy Olson calculated the number of people different actors have killed across their entire filmographies, it was unsurprising that Arnold headed up the list. But some of the other entries are surprising. The deadliest “Charles” is Sheen, not Bronson. All of Toshiro Mifune’s movies with Kurosawa weren’t enough to make him the top Japanese actor on the list; that honor belongs to Tomisaburo Wakayama of the Lone Cub and Wolf series. And Clive Owen wins the “he was such a nice guy!” award for actor you’d least suspect is a ruthlessly prolific killer.

But there are some things you can still count on in this world, like the fact that Uma Thurman is solidly the most lethal actress around.
