Location
Monte Bolca is made up of several sites that can be fond
along the Alpone river, Verona province, norththern Italy (Monte
Postale, fish and molluscs; Monte Vegroni; palms; and several
other containing crocodiles, tortoises, fish, etc), the most
famous and rich fauna being that of the Pesciara locality.

The Pesciara, Italian for "fishbowl", is generally
refered to by the scientific community as Monte Bolca. The Pesciara
is 2 km northeast of the village of Bolca ,at an elevation of
891 meters, close to a mountain known as Lastrada.
