The officer finally breaking down and laughing at the end clearly indicates they were having fun with it. Giving the tough job they face, I'm sure they enjoyed this one. It made me laugh.

Great bit on the chips. Here in Victoria/Saanich, we have so little crime compared to the rest of the continent, that a story like this one is great filler for a slow news day. Kudos to the Saanich police, who, in general, have a great attitude and a positive face in the community!!!

I love Anderson Copper. You can so tell this officer thinks this is a joke and held in the laughter until the end. lol.

I love my country. Great sense of humour AND we know a good chip when we taste one.

I for one, am ashamed to see this story. As a Canadian, I will tell you, chips are NOT our past time. Hockey is. Hockey and poutine. hmmm squeaky cheese curds on hot french fries smothered in thick, delicious brown sauce (no, it's not called gravy!).

Anderson you do realize this was just as funny for the newscaster to make as it was for everyone to watch.
