NY resident: 'My home for 35 years just disappeared'

Mike Long describes the personal loss and damage from fires and flooding in his Breezy Point, Queens, neighborhood. "It's mind boggling to see photos of it," he says about the charred remains of his house. His son's home was also burnt to the ground and his other children have severe water damage in their houses.

We know that is no way to be 100% prepare for natural disaster. However the Governor of NY has his priorities mess up. Staten Island needs HELP. They are worry about a marathon and to start construction work in Manhattan. Really! We are praying for the families affecting by Sandy, but our heart goes to the families from Staten Island. Apparently you need to be in the eyes of strong politians like the Governor of NJ so you can get some support from the Federal Govertment.
