It comes as the nation is grappling with several sensative racial issue including stop-and-frisk laws, the Trayvon Martin case, and now the recent killing of college student Christopher Lane. Dr. Martin Luther King was about PEACE. Having lived during the time period of the 1960's, Dr. King would never have approved of Trayvon Martin beating in the head of George Zimmerman. I agree with what Dr. Kings niece said, Dr. King would not have worn a *hoodie*, nor baggie pants, nor would he have approved of the rap & hip hop lyrics of today. To compare the killers of the young Australian man to George Zimmerman is ridiculous. They did NOT shoot in self defense, they shot this poor young man in the back of the head, execution style. They weren't being assaulted, beaten in the face and head. They were simply out hunting.

It is a shame that what happened in Florida. The law is the law and they found Zimmerman not guilty. It is hard for the parents, but why aren't they speaking to the blacks that are breaking windows and beating up some citizens who had nothing to do with this case. All I hear that they want a law to honor their sons name. He could have walked away and this would not happen. Go after the politicians regarding the Stand your Ground law that is legal in Florida and in other states. I don't hear anything about that at all.
