We are proud to announce that ADD-ADHD Cyprus' project "Empowering the Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Community" was classified by the EEA/Norway Grants NGO Fund in Cyprus as a Best Practices project in the report NGO Fund in Cyprus: Compendium of Projects.  ADD-ADHD Cyprus completed the project in August 2010.

If you have just learned that someone you love has or may have AD/HD, it is likely that you feel overwhelmed.  As a service to the AD/HD community, ADD-ADHD Cyprus provides a directory of professionals who provide services and support to those with AD/HD.  ADD-ADHD Cyprus does not endorse or recommend the services of any of the providers listed in this directory.

Professionals:  If you'd like to be included in our professional directory, all you need to do is become an ADD-ADHD member and sign up for this service.

Understanding AD/HD
What's New in AD/HD?
If you are new to the AD/HD community, the first thing you probably want to do is better understand AD/HD and what it means for you and your child.  The Resources and Support section of this website can help!

In addition, there is a great new resource called the Partnership Support Pack, which was developed by Shire Pharmaceuticals in collaboration with ADHD Europe.  It's an excellent source of information on raising awareness, talking about AD/HD, recognizing the symptoms and diagnosis, understanding the impact and addressing the stigma of AD/HD, and planning for the management and treatment of AD/HD.

A great new blog for adults with AD/HD is now available at  It is written by Bryan Hutchinson, the author of One Boy's Struggle:  A Memoir - Surviving Life with Undiagnosed ADD.  All about staying positive and working with, not against AD/HD, the blog and all that Bryan does is inspirational.

School Report: Perspectives on ADHD, by UCB Pharma in association with ADDISS, UK, is an excellent report on research amongst children and parents illustrating the impact of ADHD on the school day.  For those who think that ADHD doesn't need to be taken seriously, this is an eye opener!
