Megyn Kelly said she isn't sure if she will stay at Fox News after her contract expires next year.

"I don’t know what’s going to happen. I’ve had a great 12 years here, and I really like working for Roger Ailes. I really like my show, and I love my team," Kelly said in an interview with Variety published Tuesday.

"But, you know, there’s a lot of brain damage that comes from the job. There was probably less brain damage when I worked in the afternoon. I was less well known. I had far less conflict in my life.

"I also have three kids who are soon going to be school from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.," she continued. "I come to work at 3:30. I like to see my children. Having said that, my boss has been good about working with me to make me happy. ... I’ve had few problems here where I couldn’t talk to him and say, 'Can we work something out?,' and come away happy."

He's called her "crazy" and "overrated" in the past.

Kelly said in the interview that Fox News has been supportive of her through the feud with Trump.

“Fox News has been in a tough position,” she said. “They care about me, and they are not afraid of a fight, but we’re in unchartered territory.”

In the past, Kelly has said she wished Bill O'Reilly had defended her more against Trump's attacks.

"I do wish that O'Reilly had defended me more in his interview with Trump," Kelly told More Magazine, referring to a January interview with Trump. "I would have defended him more."

CNN reported that Kelly has thought about doing a daytime talk show, and she said in the interview she has thought about having her own talk show. Executives at other networks are interested in Kelly, according to CNN.

"I have to keep my options open," Kelly told Variety.
