PS Where should we submit bug reports? My unread counts are broken and the “contact support” link on the Help page doesn’t work. (on Firefox v21).
why dont u answer???
TAG SECTION IS GONE. ALL OF TAGS DELETED AND NO ONE CAN CREATE NEW TAGS.
Can’t edit tags. Tagging section in settings is gone. Tags are wrong interpreted and I’m not able to delete them. Heavy bug for me and my work with feedly. Have to try to migrate to digg, too. Urgent! Need tagging section back.
I’m very frustrated, and very sorry to hijack a thread here, but I see no other easy way of getting in touch or file a support request… I left this on a very old post but thought it might be better on a current post.
I’m not impressed with Feedly. It’s not showing ANY of my feeds. I can see them in reader, but not Feedly is empty. In my case, I exported my feeds from an old Gmail account and imported them into my primary Gmail account. Google Reader shows them immediately. No problems. But Feedly is blank. The problem may be that I inadvertently logged into Feedly before I had imported my feeds into Google Reader… Whatever it is, it’s maddening that 1) it’s not working, 2) I couldn’t just import the OPML file through Feedly directly, 3) there’s no clear way to start over, and 4) I can’t even find a good way to get in contact you with. (You say that users can leave a comment, but you sure don’t seem to be responding to people’s comments. Overall, it hasn’t been a good first impression. Good to know there are (and will be) many other options for managing feeds
Methinks feedly no longer syncs with google reader (e.g. posts read in feedly don’t show read in google reader, and vice versa), so I think you have to import your feeds directly into feedly.
Hi,
Thanks for OPML Export.
However, you should use utf8 instead of ISO-8859-1, because titles can be in utf-8 :)
only a few of my starred items imported from GR. I have about 240 starred items and about 30 of them imported into the saved for later tab. What’s the solution?
Encoding=”ISO-8859-1″ has some problems with saving/displaying non-Latin characters. Maybe it’s better to use encoding=”UTF-8″ for OPML, like it was in Google?
No problem I converting as UTF-8 with VIM (VIMproved): http://www.vim.org/
I can pass it off as UTF-8 or ISO-8859-1 or any other format.
Only edit XML edition as UTF-8. No problem. :)
Aaaahhhh:
:set encoding=UTF-8
Easy.
I dominate Linux.
OK. Changed the encoding to utf-8 in 16.0.536.
U ANSWERED THAT AND NOT SOLVED THE TAG PROBLMES. GOOD BYE FEEDLY, MIGRATE TO AOL READER.
Now we just need one thing: Remove the tags
Organize feed – does not work. You can organize folders but can not organize feeds. Please fix it
got an error when importing your opml to theoldreader.com

If I had as many feeds as you, Khfcrt, then I’d definitely need the syicnng ability aswell. Just can’t wait for NewsFire to make it to the iPhone, then I can do syicnng aswell as look at something beautiful as I’m sure the NF app will be quite elegant too.
Have the same problem
Thank you !
God bless you feedly!
TAGS!!! seriously!!! Please put it back so I can save my fav’s!! I can’t even edit or finish putting in the remaining list I have!!! it’s now less then 24hrs to dooms day on googles reader HELP!!!
Ok, some movement in the right direction, but OPML should:
1) be accessibly through a URL
2) use UTF-8 instead of ISO-8859-1
3) include the homepage URL for all the feeds like in the old Google Reader export (htmlUrl and xmlUrl)

+1 for (1). I want to download the OMPL with wget daily for backup as I did with google reader before.
Hey,I accidentally reset all my feeds in an experiment. Is there a way you can help me with an opml of the same? I have actually reimported from Google Reader, but the feeds I added in Feedly over the past couple of days are obviously missing.
Hi.
I’m experiencing some annoying bugs using feedly and tried to describe the issue in the comments to the one of the previous posts in your blog, but those comments are still “awaiting moderation”, so I guess you still haven’t seen them. So I would like to know what is the best way to contact the staff and inform of the bugs or problems user is experiencing?
I can’t read the linked-to post on iPad. It opens a page (www.feedly.com/ios.html) that advises me to install the feedly app, but (1) I already have that app, and (2) the app does not allow you to read that specific link.
I’m not sure about this but I believe some RSS applications allow merging feeds via OPML while other will replace your existing feeds instead.
I don’t think OPML-import is implemented in Feedly yet but which of the above will happen when it is?
Thanks Feedly team! I was starting to get worried as to how I could easily backup my current feeds! Even better once the formatting issues previously mentioned are addressed.
it is not showing all of my feeds/folders. A huge chunk are missing
Thanks! I just wanted to say I appreciate all the work you’re doing on such a tight schedule. Keep up the good work! Also, are you still planning on having a paid premium version? I would pay for it right now just to help make sure you aren’t forced to shut down too.
¡Excelente! Muchísimas gracias, Ustedes son grandes.
For those who are trying to contact Feedly developers, the best way seems to be via their Twitter account. They are very active there responding to inquiries.
https://twitter.com/feedly
every time i open the feedly it does not show me the unread articles and says that all articles have been read
please help me
Google Reader is dead tomorrow and there is no support at all for Windows Phone apps. Where is the API?
The XML is not proper. For example, & in feed titles need to be escaped in XML.
+1, serious problem

Hey, thanks for the OPML. Is it possible to export my list of saved items?
I would like to know this too – hopefully the answer is yes, or will be sometime soon.
Well, after carefully importing and building my feeds over the past few months, this morning all of my content is gone.
Time to keep searching for a reader solution, if I have to rebuild from scratch anyway.
Genuinely no matter if someone doesn’t know after that its up to other viewers that they will assist, so here it occurs.
It shows as a bunch of code text not a downloadable file. How’s that supposed to be saved to then import elsewhere should I need to?
This is simply amazing! Thank you for listening to your users. I would encourage making a one-click button to download the file, rather then having to copy-and-paste the content. Most people will get frustrated. This allows me to share my feed with some of advanced podcast readers (such as BeyondPod, which pre-downloads the media content .mp3 .avi etc). Way to go!
when reading this news, I wanted to say that feedly ended his way to the dark side, and it was perfect … however try exporting and then importing the same feedly and other readers NOT WORK for now: (
I have tried exporting to OPML and then importing to several reader – ALL FAILED. The readers reported problems parsing your OPML file. Since there is no Google takeout for reader anymore, I would appreciate a solution to this problem.
Did you manage to make it work? Im having the same problem =/ I don’t know what to try anymore
no :(
Probably some of your feed’s url have “&” in it. Open the opml in a text editor and replace the sole “&” for “&”.
Howdy, i read your blog occasionally and i own a similar one and i was just curious if you get a lot of spam comments? If so how do you prevent it, any plugin or anything you can suggest? I get so much lately it’s driving me crazy so any help is very much appreciated.
Ok but how do you get that into a file form?
Is there any way we can export the tags with the tagged items ?
I have many tags with a lot of articles in each tag.
El archivo opml que genera al exportar no es posible leerlo en ningún lector y ni siquiera puedo en mi Feedly en otro ordenador. Copio y pego en el bloc de notas, lo nombro feedly.opml pero crea un archivo que da error al importar desde otro PC.
I was able to fix my exported OPML by replacing all instances of & with &[#038;] (without the brackets; can’t type it normal without it displaying as just an ampersand).
I make what you say but it don’t works when I want to import my OPML in Atchus!
What can I do please ?
Thanks
Thanks for this! I have an “offline” reader that I use when I’m on the plane so this is super helpful to catch up on all my feeds!

Appreciating the hard work you put into your website and in depth information you offer. It’s great to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same old rehashed material. Great read! I’ve bookmarked your site and I’m including your RSS feeds to my Google account.
I was recommended this website by my cousin. I am not sure whether this post is written by
him as no one else know such detailed about my difficulty.
You are amazing! Thanks!
This is a great inspiring article keep up the good work!..
¿Is there any way to export just a collection of links instead of all of the collections?
+1 exporting individual collections would be excellent

The link your provided: http://cloud.feedly.com/#opml
does not work. When used, all of my browsers just default back to the welcome page. This is hugely frustrating and I am seriously tempted to just use Flipboard instead. Please help.
