The House late Friday sent a measure to the president that would provide Israel with funding for its Iron Dome missile defense system.
The vote was 395-8. Earlier in the day, the Senate passed the $225 million measure by unanimous consent.
The Iron Dome has been cited as a key ability for Israel to defend itself against rocket attacks launched by Palestinian militants.
“We are with the Israelis, because if they don’t have the Iron Dome, they can’t defend themselves,” Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said Friday.
The House passed the measure without any debate as it churned through consideration of bills regarding the border crisis.
