It's finally here! Our latest title, the "utterly inspired" Art Academy: Atelier (Art Academy: Home Studio in the US) will be released on 26th June (25th June in the US).
We've always thought Wii U was a natural fit for an Art Academy game, and reviewers seem to agree:
“Overall though, we reckon this is the best Art Academy title yet, and it simply wouldn't be possible on any other home console” – Nintendo Life 9/10
"With purposeful brushstrokes, Headstrong’s considered approach easily sees Art Academy: Atelier signify the very best that they have achieved in Nintendo’s Art Academy series. " – Nintendo Insider 9/10

As the majority of the studio is currently playing Majora's Mask we thought we would show you a couple of our favourite Zelda themed images from the Miiverse. The rest is a strange bunch of Mario, Disney and the Japanese Manga Mushishi.
We’re very proud to announce our new game, Seeker. It’s an action RPG set in space with lots of tech, aliens, plasma weapons and, of course, loot! It’s been a manic few weeks getting it ready to show at GDC but we’re finally there and it feels good to be heading out to the show with something we really believe in. There’s a video and some screen shots here to give you an idea of the game-play and setting. We’ll be updating the blog regularly with more info as the development progresses.
Have you ever wanted to have your Pokémon art work on an official Pokémon Trading Card? You do?
Well now is your chance! There is a competition being run over on the official Pokémon website that lets you do just that. All you have to do is:
"Submit your image directly from Pokémon Art Academy to the Miiverse Community. Be sure to add a title to your submission using the caption field. You may submit art in both the Favorite Pokémon and Pikachu Cosplay categories. Only the first submission for each Nintendo Network ID will be eligible to win. Images will be accepted between February 18 and March 29, 2015. The art will then be reviewed and winners will be chosen. Look for email notification in April to see if your entry has been selected! We will send you your unique Pokémon TCG cards in autumn 2015."
There are two categories to enter. Draw your favourite Pokémon where you can draw any Pokémon you like and "Dress-up Pikachu". Where you draw Pikachu "wearing the most imaginative costume you can come up with".
With the up and coming release of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Nintendo has thrown another drawing competition using Art Academy: Sketchpad. Once again there has been some fantastic entries that still surprise the artists here at Headstrong. If you have Sketchpad and want to enter the competition yourself then follow the link below.
Nearly a year since launch, the Art Academy Sketchpad players are still producing some fantastic art. Here is our five favourites from this month.
