The flamboyant Teemto Pagalies of Moonus Mandel piloted the Podracer with the longest engines in the Boonta Eve Classic. During the second lap of the race, Teemto's racer was hit by a potshot from nearby Tusken Raiders. The blast crippled his engines, causing a spill that sent his circular cockpit into a mad spin.
From the Expanded Universe
Pagalies is a Veknoid outcast who has become smitten with Ann Gella, one of Sebulba's twin masseuses. When he learned that Mars Guo, a fellow Podracer, also had feelings for the blue beauty, he began to fear that Guo might abscond with her. Thus, he began plotting against Guo during the Boonta Eve Podrace. Pagalies was knocked out of the race before he could take any action against Guo. Teemto survived, and went on to compete in the Vinta Harvest Classic on Malastare.
Behind the Scenes
A stickler for anatomical detail, Concept Artist Terryl Whitlatch worked out the entire Veknoid skeletal structure when designing Teemto Pagalies
