Woman found murdered in Jind, cousin suspect
Jind:  A Dalit woman was allegedly found murdered with a sharp edged weapon at her residence in Julana area of Jind yesterday.

Ms Manju had been staying on the second floor of a rented house in the area along with her husband Ajeet and her 18-month-old son for the last eight months, police said.

According to the complaint filed by Mr Ajeet, he spotted his wife lying in a pool of blood when he came home in the afternoon.

Her neck was slit with a sharped edged weapon, the police said.

On Mr Ajeet's complaint, a case has been registered against Ms Manju's cousin Sonu, police said, adding the matter was being probed further.
