Ganguly to be BCCI president in 2014?

New Delhi:

Former India skipper Sourav Ganguly, who turns 37 on Wednesday, may have retired from international cricket almost 8 months ago, but the Prince of Kolkata is very keen to be involved in the game in every possible way.

Having made his debut as a commentator in last month's World T20 in England and now only playing in the IPL, Ganguly has said in an interview to a national daily that he sees himself as a future president of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB).

According to BCCI's rotational policy, CAB president could become the BCCI president in 2014. Many in the cricket body are open to the idea of Sourav becoming the president.

The stylish left-hander's desire to contest CAB elections would also mean he would take on his one time mentor Jagmohan Dalmiya.
