McObjectR, developer of the eXtremeDBR Financial Edition database system and related product family, announced that C3S, a Singaporean firm specializing in high-value and mission-critical technology solutions in market segments including finance, defense and electronic government (e-government), has joined McObject as distributor in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam.

"McObject's focus on data management for low-latency, fault-tolerant capital markets systems makes it an excellent fit as a partner," C3S Founder and Managing Director Yun Ta Chun said. "In IT categories including capital markets, McObject and C3S bring shared expertise in implementing the 'last 20 percent' of information systems. In this area, IT solutions achieve more than just efficient information management. They become strategic enabling tools to achieve higher corporate functions such as better accuracy of information, improved reliability of processes, and better alignment to operational objectives."

Singapore's Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Home Affairs, Indonesia Stock Exchange and Vietnam Ministry of Information and Communications are among C3S's major clients in the region. Specialized technologies underlying its solutions include low latency data synchronization, data visualization and situational awareness, and command and control. More information about C3S is at .

For its part, McObject has built a strong presence in capital markets and other segments where real-time systems must sort and analyze growing volumes of complex data. Its key technologies for achieving these goals include eXtremeDB Financial Edition, a database management system that provides the ability to pipeline vector-based statistical functions in CPU cache to ensure the lowest latency when working with market data. McObject helped pioneer the field of in-memory computing with its core eXtremeDB In-Memory Database System (IMDS), and its product family includes eXtremeDB Cluster and High Availability editions.

Yun founded C3S after a 25-year career in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), during which he led information technology strategic planning in the Ministry of Defence, commanded the Signal Battalion, and led the Signals Corps as the Chief Signal Officer for 7 years. In 1997, Colonel Yun was conferred the Pingat Pentadbiran Awam, PPA, Public Administration Medal (Bronze), by the President of Singapore for his contributions in transforming the SAF's IT systems.

"McObject and C3S share strengths that will lead to a successful partnership, resulting in steady growth of market share in the region. The two firms have the agility to work closely with customers, to provide technology solutions that address complex, strategic challenges. McObject and C3S enter the relationship with expertise gathered in their successful track records in targeted market segments including capital markets and defense. We look forward to working on many joint projects with C3S," said Steve Graves, McObject CEO and co-founder.
