Short-term programs in English

English brochure of the ELTE Faculty of Humanities 2012

If you cannot spend a full semester on exchange but would still like to experience studying in the central part of Europe, an intensive short-term study program could be a great option for you. These programs take place during the study periods both in the Fall and the Spring Semesters. Obtaining credit for your certificate is a requirement of each program.  Program offerings change periodically, so we will provide updates on available programs each semester.

The Faculty of Humanities of Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE BTK) invites international students to apply to its tuition-based foreign-language short-term programs for the academic year 2012/2013, within an ECTS-compatible credit system, beginning on 28 Sepember 2012, Fall Semester) and in February 2012 (Fall Semester).

Additional short-term programs are approved and announced on a regular basis. Keep checking our website or enquire with our enthusiastic International Student Office team about further details by sending an e-mail to international@btk.elte.hu.

Duration of studies and number of credits: 1 or 2 semesters, 30 credits

Tuition fee: 950 € (both for EU and non-EU citizens)

Upon completing the program students will receive a transcript of their studies signed by the Dean of the Faculty (with an English seal). The credits obtained during the course may be incorporated into future university studies.

In order to apply for any of the short-term courses, you will need to hold a BA degree in a field that is related to the program you would like to attend.
