Enjoy
flying training at one of the finest soaring sites in these
islands, in a beautiful setting beneath the cliffs of Binevenagh
on the shore of Lough Foyle. The
only age limit in gliding is that you must be 14 to fly
solo, however, training may commence before age 14. There
is no upper age limit.
"Majestic", "Silent",
"Awesome" are all words used to describe the exhilarating
experience of a flight in a glider. Young or old, male or
female, gliding is many different things to many different
people. It can be a fun family day out or an activity break.
For some, it is just a casual hobby. For others, it is an
inexpensive way to get airborne. For many, it is the cutting
edge sport of racing or aerobatics. For all, it is a silent
and graceful way of flying without an engine.
