Google wants its search box right at iPhone owners’ fingertips no matter what app they are using. Here comes Gboard, a new iOS keyboard app.

On Thursday morning, the free app from Alphabet Inc.’s Google is set to go live in Apple Inc.’s App Store. It’ll challenge other alternatives to the stock iPhone keyboard, including Microsoft Corp.’s Word Flow and SwiftKey, as well as Swype, Fleksy, Minuum and KuaiBoard.
